Canterbury Bells are biennials and start blossoming on second year after planting. These flowers are hard and easily grow in zone 4-9. It thrives in full sun to partial shade. It can grow in well-drained, sandy, or loamy soil, and prefer cool temperatures. Canterbury bells are easily propagated by seeds. They should start in late spring or early summer, thinning as needed once seedlings become large enough. Simply sprinkle seeds in the garden bed, cover with a little bit a soil and allow nature to do the rest (of course, you will need to keep the area watered). Mature plants will self-seed. We grow Canterbury Bells by 2 methods – sow straight into the ground at the middle of May and growing through the seedlings. Both methods working good, but for sowing into the ground you need much more seeds. If you start indoor, scatter the seeds on the top of moist soil and push to the soil. Spray with the water and cover with plastic. New grows will be seen in 7-10 days, can be even early. Grow them till the high 4-5 cm and transplant into the garden. You will see the beautiful blossom next year, sometimes can be in a year. Canterbury bells much easier to grow than any other types of bells. You will get a beautiful blossom in garden and great cut flowers!

There are 500+ seeds in package.
