Duchess de Nemours

Duchesse de Nemours is a variety that has brought the joy to the world since 1856.  It produces double white flowers with a creamy yellow inner glow. An occasional hint of green towards the central inner petals telling us that's a true variety. It's wonderful crown exalted above a wreath of pedals. This is a productive variety that produces a profusion of blooms, and many side buds make the blossoming time long lasting. No doubt, this peony is a work horse in the cut flower world. Duchesse de Nemours produces a strong fragrance that remind the fragrance Lily of the Valley. Excellent dark green foliage. Very reliable grower!
