Helichrysum bracteatum is latin name of the strawflowers. They are profuse bloomers and can be used for fresh or dried arrangements. These are tall, well-branched plants produce double flowers 2–2 1/2" across. Blooms are in a wide range of colours, are easy-to-grow, and need only moderate watering. Also known as bracted strawflower. It is a very good cut flowers and are so beautiful in fresh and dry bouquets. We recommend to start inside 6-8 weeks before last frost, but they easily can grow if sow straight in to the ground. They will survive a few light frosts in the fall and not fussy about soil conditions. In fact seem to prefer "poor" soil.. There are 150 seeds in packedge.
